Usupashvili: Georgia can not join NATO under Saakashvili
According to the leader of Georgian Republican Party David Usupashvili, reelected to the post by decision of the 14th Congress of the party, in the event that Mikhail Saakashvili's team remains in power, Georgia's accession to NATO would be impossible.
"Georgia's accession to NATO is the desire of Georgian people. It is important that it was exactly Georgia's accession to NATO, but not a regular basis for Saakashvili's propaganda machine. It is very important to see this process in the background of democratic changes", the GHN quoted Usupashvili's speech at a meeting with ambassadors of NATO countries, which took place today in the Georgian capital.
Recall, on the eve, the NATO delegation, headed by Anders Fogh Rasmussen, arrived in Tbilisi.
