Alasania: Fair elections is a pledge of Georgia's accession to NATO
According to the leader of Georgia's "Free Democrats" Irakli Alasania, free and fair elections are the standard, which will allow Georgia to join NATO. As reported by the GHN, Alasania announced his view during a meeting with NATO delegation, which was held today in Tbilisi.
"The Ambassadors have clear position. Our position coincides with the ambassadors', that Georgia should conduct free and fair elections, and this is the only way to change the government. These are the standards, meeting which, we'll be able to join NATO", said Alasania.
Recall, the visit of NATO delegation, led by Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, to Georgia, began yesterday.
