Saakashvili was hoping to get a jacket from NATO, but has not received
Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili was hoping to get a new gift from the head of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen. However, his expectations were not met. As reported by "Georgia-News", Saakashvili was waiting for trendy jacket with the symbol of NATO Alliance from Rasmussen.
Georgian leader joked in this vein, addressing to the head of the Alliance at a joint press conference held yesterday in Batumi (Ajaria) after a meeting of NATO-Georgia Commission.
"Your predecessor, when he came to Georgia, gave me a NATO tie. And I was hoping that you will give me at least a NATO jacket ... I think it would be suitable to this tie", Saakashvili said.
By the way, at a meeting with NATO Secretary General, Saakashvili was dressed in exactly the same corporate tie. However, he still has the same jacket ...
