Electricity consumption in Georgia increased by 10%
Over the past three years, electricity consumption in Sakartvelo increased by 10 percent. According to "Business-Georgia", such data was announced on the eve at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Industry Economics by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia Alexander Khetaguri. According to him, this growth is due to the opening of new businesses in the country and the growing prosperity of citizens.
"Over the past three years, electricity consumption increased by 10 percent, which has happened for two reasons - opening new businesses and consumption more energy by citizens, which indicates their prosperity", Khetaguri said.
Touching the question about installing electricity meters in the country, Khetaguri said that the opposition might raise the question of its liability if the project would have been uncompleted on time.
