Bakradze has discussed taxes with businessmen
A meeting of Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze with local businessmen is scheduled for today in the Georgian capital. As reported by the GHN, they will also discuss the problems of changes in the tax laws of the country.
As expected, the meeting will be attended by Ombudsman for businessmen's rights. He will familiarize the Georgian businessmen with the problems that have accumulated to date in this area.
In addition, as they are planning, this meeting will be attended by the heads of service revenues of Georgian Ministry of Finance Jaba Ebanoidze. He will speak about new initiatives in the area of tax law. In particular, he will introduce the participants to aspects of the alternative tax for small businesses in the details.
Currently, representatives of Georgian small businesses are taxed on the basis of annual turnover. Now, according to a new initiative, an entrepreneur, running a small business, may opt for a fixed payment, explained in the Finance Ministry.
