Tbilisi hopes for better relations with Italy
According to the Georgian ambassador to Italy Konstantin Gabashvili, under the new Italian government relations between the two countries must improve.
"I hope that relations between Georgia and Italy will improve. New government, although it is technical government that will be in power for year and a half, consists of very interesting people. Those ministers who are most interesting for me as ambassador, are very positive for us", said Gabashvili in the air of "Rustavi-2". This interview was quoted by "Georgia-News".
On Sunday, Italian president Giorgio Napolitano appointed the economist, Senator Mario Monti the head of Italian government. The new Cabinet includes 12 ministers, among them - three women and five ministers "without a portfolio".
