A monument to a bike was erected in Tbilisi
Today, in Tbilisi, at the Rose Revolution square, there has been installed a giant metal sculpture of a bicycle. As reported by "Georgia-News", the length of the bike - eight feet, the height - four feet, two steering wheels on both sides.
"The opening ceremony of a metal bicycle sculptures will be held in the coming days", said the head of the Development Fund of Tbilisi Giorgi Sabanadze in an interview.
"This monument is a reflection of the ideas of those people who maintain their healthy lifestyle and love to travel by bicycle", said Sabanadze.
The author of the project is well-known French artist and architect Jean Dupal.
The monument was erected at the Rose Revolution square within the project for reconstruction of the square.
