Citrus from Georgia may appear in Russia
Soon, the Russian agricultural market have a chance to return Georgian citrus. As reported by the GHN, the members of the Georgian-Russian business development recently discussed the prospect of such a possibility. As the chairman David Zodelava told in an interview, they have initiated such a step.
"We want to contribute to the maintenance of the traditional partnership between the two countries. First, we will work on the returning of citrus. We intend to create a lab and a legal basis for its normal functioning. In the world, there are many examples, when despite the political tensions between the countries, the economic relations do not stop and even are developing", said Zodelava.
He noted that they have already sent the appropriate appeal to the Russian regulatory authorities.
