A monument to Reagan will be erected in Tbilisi
In Tbilisi, near the residence of Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili, a monument to former U.S. President Ronald Reagan will be erected.
According to VZGLIAD, a Memorial to Reagan will be established in a central park on the banks of the Kura River.
The opening of the monument is scheduled for November 23, when Georgia celebrates the anniversary of the "Rose Revolution". According to the local authorities, this move by Tbilisi would mean the country's aspiration for freedom.
Note also that one of the U.S. presidents has already been immortalized in the Georgian capital. One of the streets is named on the name of George W. Bush.
