Saakashvili handed round the Order of Shining

In Tbilisi, the ceremony of awarding the Presidential Order of Shining to representatives of various professions was held. According to Trend, the award has been dated to the 8th anniversary of the "Rose Revolution" in Georgia and the Holiday of "Giorgoba" (St. George's day).
As part of the celebrations, Mr Saakashvili, above all, highlighted the successes of Georgian Diplomacy. He presented awards to a group of Georgian diplomats, who held talks with Russia on the WTO accession. They are Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergo Kapanadze and Tornike Gordadze, as well as Advisor to the Prime Minister Tamara Kovziridze and Georgia's ambassador to the EU, Salome Samadashvili. According to the head of the Georgian state, Georgia has achieved considerable success in the negotiations on WTO.
In addition, the former Minister of Agriculture Bakur Kvezereli has got the Presidential Order of Shining for his contributions to the development of agriculture of Georgia. Also, the Georgian singer Nino Katamadze also received the Order.
