Russian deputy, who has fled to Georgia, was deprived of his powers
The representative of legislative assembly of the Novosibirsk region of Russia Dmitry Gordeev, excluded from the "United Russia", and who has asked the Georgian authorities for political asylum, deprived of deputy powers.
According to Lenta.ru, the people's representatives made this decision in connection with the statement received from the Gordeeva.
It is worth mentioning that Gordeev was accused of fraud - Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code. In respect of the accused there was selected a preventive measure in the form of subscriptions on their own recognizance. Later he was announced wanted. After that, the deputy appealed to the President of the Russian Federation with a video. In it, Gordeev complained of corruption of "some FSB agents".
Later, he arrived to Georgia and appealed to the authorities with a request for political asylum.
