The writer Dochanashvili told about Saakashvili and Ivanishvili
The presentation of the new book of Georgian writer Guram Dochanashvili "Letters, conversations with literary men, short stories" was held in the Georgian capital. As reported by the GHN, in his current work, the writer told about politics, although he admitted that he knew not much in it. "To enter politics, a man should break away from his work. And I love my work", said Dochanashvili. In the book he also describes his acquaintance with President Mikhail Saakashvili, as well as well-known Georgian businessman and politician Bidzina Ivanishvili.
"Bidzina Ivanishvili and Saakashvili are linked, I'm embarrassed that I know them both. I remember only good from them, but society hardly take it. I know that they have no purpose. They do not require a reckoning. Nobody heard that I called someone to vote for one or another. It's just in their attitude towards my work, that is, reader's goodwill to the writer. They love not only me, they do have other favorite writers. Personally, I remember only good from Bidzina Ivanishvili, in 2001, our family had very difficult times, and I do not know what would have done without him. But I can also remember a lot of good from Mikhail Saakashvili. The dream of my life was a trip to Italy and he let me go with my family", says in Dochanashvili's book.
