Gilauri: Czech Republic supports Georgia's integration into NATO
According to Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri, the Czech Republic intends to support Georgia's integration into NATO at the Summit of the North Atlantic Alliance in Chicago, to be held next year. As reported by Trend, Gilauri told this to reporters after his meeting with Czech counterpart Petr Necas in Prague.
"Czech Prime Minister emphasized success in the progress of Georgia's integration into NATO", said Gilauri.
Czech Republic "provides strong support" to Georgia and to its integration into the EU. "I mean the support of the Czech Republic in the preparation of an agreement on free trade, liberalization of the visa posts, implementation of future activities on European integration of Georgia", said Gilauri.
During his visit to the Czech Republic, he also spoke with the First Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg. The officials discussed bilateral relations and issues of Sakartvelo's integration into European and North Atlantic structures.
