TV "Maestro": Kitsmarishvili pokes his nose into wrong affairs
Today in Georgia, the founders of the Georgian TV channel "Maestro" spread a special statement. As reported by the GHN, the document contained allegations against Erosi Kitsmarishvili. He is accused of interfering in the editorial policy of the channel. In particular, the paper argued that it became known that Kitsmarirshvili had held a meeting with the creative team of television without coordination with the management and founders of the company.
"We believe that this is interference in editorial policy of the "Maestro". In addition, the founders of the "Maestro" have learned that the management company has accumulated a debt to some partners, which pose a serious threat to the normal functioning of the "Maestro". We urge the General Director of "Maestro" Illia Kikabidze to respond to this fact so as to ensure the editorial independence of the "Maestro" as it was before", said the authors of the distributed statement.
Recall, Kitsmarishvili is the owner of the company, which, in turn, controls the independent TV company "Maestro". In addition, he is one of the leaders of the "Georgian Party".
Recently, he talked about his willingness to transfer the company to billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili. The oppositionist was ready to receive for this a symbolic payment of one lari.
"I am ready to transfer my company to Bidzina Ivanishvili at a symbolic price of one lari (about 0.6 dollars) and the only condition of the transfer will be Ivanshvili's agreement with the "Maestro" about the size of investments", stated Kitsmarishvili
