The UN experts are satisfied from the meeting in Gali
On the eve, in Gali, a regular meeting within the framework of a mechanism to prevent and respond to incidents (MPRI) in the Abkhaz conflict zone was held. As reported by "Georgia News" referring to the material of the UN Office in Tbilisi, the UN experts have positively assessed the talks.
"The 32nd meeting of the MPRI took place under the chairmanship of the UN in Gali. The meeting was held in a businesslike atmosphere, with the participation of all parties involved in the debate in a professional manner", noted in the report of the international organization.
"The participants have again discussed the issue of free movement across the bridge Inguri, and other points of intersection. The importance of joint efforts to combat crime, as well as specific ideas were proposed for further consideration was noted again", emphasized in the report of the UN.
Following the meeting, the next such event will take place in Gali January 31, 2012.
