Dzhioeva's proponents do not accept idea of new elections
Alla Dzhioeva and her supporters refused to compromise for a new presidential election, the "Echo of the Caucasus" reported.
Ex-presidential candidate in the republic of South Ossetia Alla Dzhioeva stated that the re-election of the president won't take place - neither she, nor her supporters accept such idea.
Previously, the current president Eduard Kokoity, as a compromise, offered to give Dzhioeva an opportunity to participate in the following election scheduled for March 25.
Dzhioeva said she had no intention to abandon the victory and to agree to participate in the elections
"17 thousand people who voted for me, also won't take part in the elections. They (supporters), have repeatedly said that wouldn't vote any more", said Dzhioeva.
"They (the authorities) did not recognize the opinion of 17 thousand people, what is the point to hold new elections?", Dzhioeva said.
"Thanks Kokoity for such a reverent", she said, adding that she personally has not received any proposal.
