Kazakhstan continues to invest in Georgia
According to the head of Kazakh government Karim Masimov, Kazakhstan intends to continue to invest in Georgia's economy. As reported by "Georgia News" with reference to RIA Novosti, Massimov said this after talks with Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, which took place in Astana.
"We reaffirm our commitment to continue to invest in the Georgian economy. And the possibility of transit of export of Kazakh goods through the territory of Azerbaijan and Georgia are very important", the head of the Georgian government said in turn. He explained that at this meeting the parties discussed the issues of transport, energy and cooperation in tourism.
"Economic cooperation with Astana is also very important for us, so I think we can settle all these questions", Gilauri said.
The parties also praised the current political relations between the two countries. In addition, Gilauri invited his Kazakh counterpart to a return visit to Georgia.
