Ugulava has presented projects in Gudauri
Today, Tbilisi Mayor's Office circulated the message that the Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava held a ceremony for the presentation of infrastructure projects at the ski resort of Gudauri. This was reported by Trend.
Implementation of this project is aimed at developing tourism infrastructure of Gudauri and its attractiveness for investors. The project was launched by Tbilisi Municipality in the spring of 2011.
In the framework of the project, in "New Gudauri", a two-kilometer highway was built, electricity, gas and water supply system was installed. Under the ski slopes there was built a 50-meter road tunnel, as well as large parking for a thousand parking spaces.
Also in the "New Gudauri" the longest gondola in the Caucasus was set. Its length is 2450 meters.
In addition, the works to increase the ski slopes to 57 kilometers were carried out, tourist service center, sales office and the office of emergency medical services were built.
Currently the resort hotels, restaurants, bars and entertainment centers are under construction, said Ugulava at the presentation.
