"They offer to send prosecutor in resignation as a half-hearted measures. Nobody spoke about the President's resignation. I can now say what intermediate options we offered yesterday. Eduard Kokoity should give me the power in civilized way. And if someone does not like me, then I try to ensure the elections on March 25. That is, I will act as president at this period, it would be a compromise that would be suitable for everyone, and it would at least partly comply the opinion of those 17 000 who voted for me. Although they have the right for full respect, because they managed to exercise their constitutional right", Dzhioeva underlined.
But she added that such a proposal of developments was not adopted. The oppositionist added that consultations will continue on Friday.
Recall, the situation in South Ossetia escalated after the second round of elections for the new president of South Ossetia on November 27. According to preliminary data, published by the CEC of South Ossetia, Dzhioeva won it. However, her rival - the head of the local MOE Anatoly Bibilov, accused the opposition leader of the violations. Having examined the relevant complaint by Bibilov, the Supreme Court of South Ossetia has decided to annul the election results. New elections of the head of South Ossetia were scheduled for March 25, 2012. However, Dzhioeva has not still agreed with this course of events and intends to defend her right "to be president", basing on the outcome of the last voting.
