Brovtsev: there's no either external or internal threats for South Ossetia
Prime Minister of South Ossetia Vadim Brovtsev, temporary acting head of the republic, held a meeting with the leadership of law enforcement agencies.
According to IA "Res", the head of the Emergencies Ministry, the Interior Ministry, KGB and the Ministry of Defense reported to Vadim Brovtsev about the situation in the country following an agreement between authorities and opposition.
In turn, Brovtsev instructed to transfer all power structures into the normal mode.
"Here's no external or internal threats at the moment. However, I call you to be vigilant. The care should be taken of the public order and maintain discipline. Everyone should feel the responsibility that he bears", he stressed.
Recall, the opposition leader Alla Dzhioeva called on her supporters, protesting at the central square of Tskhinval, to go home.
This appeal was made after an agreement signed by her with the then current president of the republic Eduard Kokoity on Friday. "Between the blood and your lives I choose the latter. We'll win", Dzhioeva said.
On the eve, under the same agreement, Eduard Kokoity has officially resigned. "I'm going to fight for the further consolidation of the society and the strengthening of the statehood of South Ossetia", Kokoity added.
Kokoity stressed that the authorities of the republic managed to prevent the "orange revolution". "Yes, we've defeated the Orange Revolution. South Ossetia will always be with Russia, and we won't allow someone to soil our gratitude to Russia to please certain political ambitions; we gave this oath in 1774 when joined great Russia", the former head of the republic stressed
