Ivanishvili destroys the ruling party of Georgia
According to one of the leaders of the Republican Party of Georgia Levan Berdzenishvili, with the advent of billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili in Georgian politics the process of destroying the country's ruling party - "United National Movement" - began. As reported by "Georgia News", the republican expressed this position in an interview to the newspaper "Alia".
"I confirm that they make attempts to move to us and the public will know about it. We do not want to interfere with these processes with premature talks. I confirm that such mood has been already revealed in the "National Movement" and in the executive branch", Berdzenishvili said.
Recall, in early October this year, Georgian businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili made several important statements. He expressed his willingness to abandon the Russian and French citizenship for participation in the political life of Georgia. The businessman also said he would sell about a third of his business, located in Russia, before the parliamentary elections in Georgia, scheduled for 2012.
