New political coalition will appear in Georgia
In the near future a new political coalition will appear in Georgia. As the GHN reported, new political structure will include businessman and politician Bidzina Ivanishvili, leader of the "Democratic Movement" Irakli Alasania, leader of the Georgian Republican Party David Usupashvili. As Ivanishvili's press service explained in an interview, the coalition will be formed after the final formation of Ivanishvili's party.
"The subjects of the coalition, presumably, with other political groups will create a voting bloc for parliamentary elections. Consequently, the agreement provides for consultation on joint political action with other political and public figures. At the same time, an agreement with the Chairmen of the Conservative Party Zviad Dzidziguri and People's Party Koba Davitashvili, who will personally participate in the coalition and in the operation and management of structures of the electoral bloc together with members of their political team, has already been reached", the press-service said.
Recall, in early October this year, Georgian businessman Bidzina made several important statements. He expressed his willingness to abandon the Russian and French citizenship for participation in the political life of Georgia. Ivanishvili also said it would sell about a third of his business, located in Russia, till the parliamentary elections in Georgia, scheduled for 2012.
