Georgian society will see what the government is doing
At today's meeting of the Georgian government the Prime Minister Nikoloz Gilauri instructed all ministers to prepare a presentation of the priorities of the country in 2012 for a maximum period of three weeks. As the GHN reported, Gilauri believes that society must know what the Georgian government is going to do in 2012. At the meeting Gilauri also spoke about the budget for 2012, which was approved by the Parliament last week.
"We have been working with the government members, the office of the president and parliament on the budget a lot. This is rather balanced budget and one of the healthiest budgets in the total amount of 8.5 billion, which is at 10-11 times more than in 2003. The state budget amounts 7 billion 940 million GEL", Gilauri said.
He added that the budget deficit next year is set at 3.5 percent. This, according to Gilauri, is one of the lowest in the region.
