In Tbilisi, they will show life "behind the bars"
On the occasion of Human Rights Week, which takes place in Georgia, December 15 in the cinema of the hotel "Tbilisi Marriott" the documentary of the NGO "Penal Reform International" (PRI) "Behind the Bars" will be shown. This was reported by "Georgia News" with reference to the authors of the film - the company "T studio".
They explained that the documentary "Behind the Bars" was filmed under the project "Progressive abolition of death penalty and the promotion of such alternatives which conform to international human rights standards". The project is funded through the mediation of the European Union.
The film tells about the conditions of detention of persons sentenced to long terms of imprisonment and life imprisonment. The film shows the features of the judiciary and penal system in such countries as Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
