Today the Georgian Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili said on such a delicate subject as restrooms. As reported by "Georgia News", the topic was raised during the speech of the Minister before members of the Georgian Parliamentary Committee for Regional Policy, Self-Government and Mountainous regions. He told the MPs about the work of his office done during the year.

In particular, according to Nikolaishvili, construction of 16 multi-functional service centers, which will remove the problem of restrooms on the roads of Georgia, is planned across the country - from the borders of Azerbaijan to Turkey.

"This (the lack of toilets on the road) is still a big problem ... We have decided that on the whole territory of Georgia from Azerbaijan border to Turkey there will be constructed 16 multi-functional service centers, and thus we will remove this shameful problem", Nikolaishvili said. Construction will begin in 2012, he added. The Minister also said that monitoring of the implementation of this project will be carried out by the World Bank.
