Baghaturia offers innovations in the system of payment of public services
The Georgian Parliament has received two new bills that relate to the reform of the Georgian system of public services. As reported by "Georgia News", the initiator of the bills is the deputy of the opposition faction "Unity for Justice" Jondi Baghaturia. According to the proposed documents, the citizens of Georgia should be exempted from municipal debts, as well as fines and fees.
"It's about 3 million GEL, which can be drawn from recreational activities. We won't hold a concert and thus we'll redistribute the funds in this direction", Baghaturia explained his initiatives.
In his view, these innovations, if adopted by parliament, would touch over two million people in the country - pensioners, vulnerable citizens, and those who could not even get the proper status of vulnerable persons.
Baghaturia intends to achieve that these initiative were debated at an extraordinary session of parliament.
