Azerbaijani community in Karabakh asks for mediation
According to the member of the Public Association "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan" Rovshan Rzayev, the community appealed to a number of international organizations with a request for mediation to arrange a meeting with the Armenian community. "We use all our capabilities in this direction. We need as much support for us as possible in order to these people came to the meeting", the agency Trend quoted Rzayev.
He added that he believes that the communities should contribute to the solution of the Karabakh problem, using the potential of the former relations.
Rzayev also reminded that the next meeting of the two communities of Nagorno-Karabakh is scheduled for late January - early February next year. It will be held in the Russian capital. It was originally scheduled for November this year, but due to the Duma elections in Russia has been postponed.
It was also planned to carry out conversation in Berlin, but the representatives of the Armenian community refused to meet there.
It is worth mentioning that the conflict between the two South Caucasus countries - Armenia and Azerbaijan - on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh began in 1988.
