Ingush Airport "Magas" received the first Boeing
On Tuesday, December 27, the first passenger aircraft "Boeing" flew from the airport "Magas" in Ingushetia to Moscow airport "Vnukovo". The flight Magas - Moscow was opened by JSC UTair Aviation. The aircrafts will fly from Magas to Moscow and back daily. The flights will perform a comfortable airliner Boeing 737-500. Departure from the Russian capital will be at 11:25, from Magas - at 14:40; the tickets will cost 2190 rubles, Yuga.ru reported.
The runway of Magas was on the overhaul from the summer of 2011. Repair cost was 1.5 billion rubles, allocated by the federal center. Also, the national budget allocated substantial funds for the reconstruction of the terminal, improvement of access road and surrounding area.
On board of the aircraft, arrived from Moscow, there were 116 passengers, including the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, who was in a working trip to the capital, as well as the general manager of airline company UTair Andrew Martirosov and senior officials of the country and the republic, "Echo of the Caucasus" reported.
According to Prime Minister Musa Chiliev, repairs of the airport is still ongoing, but the terminal can easily receive aircrafts and passengers. Chiliev also stressed the high quality work and actively encouraged the people to buy tickets for flights.
