U.S. awarded medal to Kadyrov
The head of the Chechen Republic was awarded a medal and a diploma from the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM International), which made special mention of his contribution and understanding of the importance of standardization in the scientific, technical and economic development of the Chechen Republic. The award ceremony took place in the U.S. capital, Washington DC, but the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, could not come to the presentation. The representatives of the Chechen delegation headed by Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Development of the Chechen Republic Mokhmad Akhmadov received the medal instead of him, RuFox reported.
According to the press service of the Chechen government and the director FBU "State Regional Center of Standardization, Metrology and Testing in the CR" Alvi Shamileva, president of the "ASTM International" James Thomas praised the contributions of Kadyrov in the implementation of international standards of construction, "The Territory of Contrasts" reported.
"The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) is the largest independent, nonprofit organization that develops standards for the production, supply and regulation of activity in the construction industry. ASTM standards are accepted for use around the world and numbers about 12 000 relevant standards of technical and industrial orientation. Such a high appraisal of the international organization is very difficult to win. The more pleasant is that the Head of the Chechen Republic has has received it"- quoted Shamileva official website of the Head and the Government of the Chechen Republic.
