Medvedev and Aliyev will hold talks in Sochi
Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia Dmitry Medvedev and Ilham Aliyev will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation at the meeting on January 23 in Sochi, the Interfax reported referring to the Kremlin press service.
President Aliyev arrives in Russia on a short visit at the invitation of Russian side. At the talks they will discuss the most topical issues of bilateral relations, regional and international agenda.
On Tuesday, January 17, Ilham Aliyev received the delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of Parliament of Georgia, chairman of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Interparliamentary Friendship Group Freedon Todua.
President of Azerbaijan expressed his satisfaction over the successful development of bilateral relations in all spheres. Ilham Aliyev noted the high level of cooperation in the sphere of politics, economy and investment, and stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the Salamnews reported.
During the meeting, Freedon Todua expressed satisfaction over his visit to Azerbaijan and stressed that this is his second visit to the country, during which he witnessed the process of dynamic development, 1news.az reported.
