Onishchenko allows restriction of the supply of cheese from Ukraine
The supply of Ukrainian cheese to Russia may be restricted, said the head of Rospotrebnadzor, chief state sanitary doctor Gennady Onishchenko, the Interfax reported.
"Anything can happen. If we see the same non-constructive position, it will be quickly implemented", he said about the possibility of supply restriction.
"We'll act strictly in accordance with our legislation. It allows us to respond to such violations in the broadest sense. Starting from the withdrawal from sale, seizure, and so on", Onishchenko said.
"Unfortunately, our contacts with the Ukrainian competent party were held in vain. We do not see any desire to conduct business talk and see some unskilled comments, often having nothing to do with the subject of discussion", the head of Rospotrebnadzor said.
