The MP: Saakashvili has become a hostage of his constitutional changes
Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has become a hostage of his constitutional changes, the chairman of the parliamentary faction of the "Unity for Justice" Giorgi Tsagareishvili said.
The deputy noted that experts' opinion that Saakashvili can be seen in the electoral list of his team won't come true.
"Now he has no guarantees of the result, so he won't take a risk. Despite the fact that the nationalists like Malashkhia dream that Saakashvili would head the electoral list. At the same time it should be noted that Saakashvili has become a hostage of the constitutional changes, carried out long before appearance of Bidzina Ivanishvili at the political arena", Tsagareishvili said.
He stressed that Saakashvili has done everything in order to strengthen his political position by the Constitution.
"These changes to the Constitution are needed for the political future of sole person. After the appearance of Bidzina Ivanishvili on October 7, everything has changed and therefore members of one team are making contradictory statements", Tsagareishvili said.
