Plan to blow up the "Sapsan" belonged to Doku Umarov
Undermining of the high-speed passenger train "Sapsan" on the route Moscow - St Petersburg, which was prevented by the FSB in summer 2011, was planned and organized by terrorist organization "Imarat Kavkaz" ("Caucasus Emirate"), led by Doku Umarov, the RosBusinessConsulting reported.
The four scheduled performer were arrested on the case of the explosion. So far, the organizer of the crime Hasan Abdullaev, also known as Abu Yasir, is wanted. It is reported that the latter has been personally preparing a head of the demolition team. He is also the amir of South-Dagestanian sector of "Caucasus Emirate", Polit.ru reported on Tuesday.
The search of saboteurs has been carried out through a chain of intermediaries, as well as via the Internet. Future demolition team passed short courses, after which the recruits were sent back with the task to establish a small militant group. The purpose of the group was self-selected object of undermining, the acquisition of explosives, weapons, and then the preparation and implementation of the attack.
As reported by RIA Novosti, according to investigators, Abu Yasir had prepared several members of demolition team, which were sent to the cities of Central Russia, where had expected the order to commit acts of terrorism and sabotage.
According to investigators, the attack on the October Railroad was planned by a native of Kabardino-Balkaria Islam Hamzhuev. It is noted that previously this man had got completely legal business. In the Russian capital, Hamzhuev rented an apartment, and then started selecting associates. In early July 2011, Hamzhuev, having found shadowing, tried to flee from Moscow, but was detained. His accomplices were soon arrested.
