Palestine has accused Tel Aviv of the breakdown of negotiations
Palestinian leaders accused Israel of failing the consultations on the resumption of peace negotiations between the sides. "Given the outcome of negotiations in Amman, the Palestinian leadership puts all responsibility for their failure on Israel", the Executive Committee of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) said in a statement. "During the talks it became clear that Israel continues to build settlements at the west bank of Jordan river and refuses to approve the establishment of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders", Interfax quoted PLO statement. The talks ended in Jordan on Jan. 25. Progress on the resumption of Palestinian-Israeli peace settlement had not been reached. Direct peace talks between the two countries were discontinued in 2010 due to the resumption of building Israeli settlements at the west bank of Jordan river", "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reported.
