The court has denied the request on new expertise of the murderer of Kokoity's guards
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court of North Ossetia denied the request of the injured party on the appointment of a comprehensive forensic psychological and psychiatric examination of Albert Tsgoev, accused of killing two employees of state security of the former South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity, the agency Interfax reported.
"The Court considered the arguments of the injured party unreasonable and the application is rejected, since these arguments were previously discussed in court", the agency quoted the judge's words.
As recalled by the "Caucasian Knot", during the hearing, held on February 2, the injured party demanded the judge to hold a third forensic psychological and psychiatric examination to Albert Tsgoev, noting that does not believe that the defendant had committed murder in affective state.
Earlier, Tsgoev's lawyers stated that their ward is guilty of murder, but the crime had been committed "in a state of emotional outburst".
The pleadings of the parties are now scheduled on February 14, indeed added, "Echo of the Caucasus" reported.
