Saakashvili: Putin's telling bullshit

2012-05-31 14:56

Wednesday, May 30, during the lecture devoted to Georgia's foreign policy and prospects at the Department of Social Sciences, University of Latvia, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili noted that saying that Georgia had attacked Russia is the same as saying that Poland had unleashed World War II.

Georgian President also urged not to believe the Russians, saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin "is telling bullshit", the IA Regnum reported.

Saakashvili told the students with irony, "It was found that the Poles, who had foolishly attacked a radio station in Germany, unleashed the World War II. And the German troops had been exercising near the border. And the Germans have just responded to the Poles and occupied Poland".

Similar coincidence, he said, has happened at the beginning of the Russo-Georgian war, when the "crazy Georgians" attacked, and Russia has been accidently conducting military exercises. "Never take seriously what the Russians say", the President of Georgia said, the edition reported.

"Putin is telling bullshit about the personal animosity between us, but in fact he wants to control the strategic states", Georgian leader said.

Recall, May 29-30, Mikheil Saakashvili was in a two-day state visit to Latvia.
