Georgian Parliament delegation to visit Azerbaijan

The delegation of the Georgian Parliament, headed by Pridon Todua, Vice Speaker of Georgian Parliament and Chairman of Parliamentary Friendship Group, will leave for Baku with an official visit on February 23rd - the press-service of the Parliament informs.


In the course of the visit meetings with Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, Oktai Assadov, Speaker of Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan, members of parliamentary committees and representatives of the executive power of Azerbaijan will be held.

The delegation also includes: opposition Vice Speaker Paata Davitaia, MPs Otar Toidze, Dilar Khabuliani, David Bezhuashvili, Ramin Bairamov and Kakhaber Okriashvili.

The Georgian delegation will introduce parliamentarians of Azerbaijan the situation in the country and discuss prospective of further interparliamentary cooperation prospective.

The visit to Baku finishes on February 25th .
