It was the result of the "round table" held today in the IA Novosti-Gruzia press centre. The representatives of the Allaince for Georgia (Irakli Alasania, the New Rights party, the Republican party) and the National Forum, previously abstaining from certain positions on this issue, agreed to join.
Davit Zurabishvili, Republican, stated their party supports the idea of the April 9th protest action with the demand of Saakashvili's resignation. At the same time he believes this event will be one of the many, but not the one way to change power.
Zurabishvili urged the entire opposition range to work out as soon as possible the plan for the case if Saakashvili really resigns on April 9th . If it won't happen and the opposition will fail to achieve its goals, it will lead the country to the total catastrophe, he believes.
Kakha Kukava, the member of the conservative party and one of the action organizers said that the opposition forces already conduct consultations on the post-Saakashvili's resignation actions. According to Kukava, since March 20th information rallies to mobilize the population will be conducted.
The National Forum representative Irakli Melashvili stated ready to participate in the action. He claimed that the Forum-based coordination committees in the regions has already started work, and are also aimed to attract population to participation in the April 9th rally.
The Laborites may also join, though their leader, Shalva Natelasvili previously claimed he would not participate in the demonstration during the election of Nino Burjanadze for president.
The International Secretary of the Labour party, Nestan Kirtadze said that at the present moment their leader is paying a visit to the USA, and will make the decision of participation or non-participation after his return to Tbilisi.
The event organizers claim this time they will not turn to Tbilisi Mayor's office for permission.
"It will be a manifestation, and no official permission is required to hold it", Kakha Kukava said.
